1970's Thea Porter Couture pink double-layered gown featuring an abstract floral and paisley print with gold metallic thread embroidered over it. Dress has 3/4 length bell sleeve, a square neckline and a quasi-empire waistline with full skirt and double bands of pink velvet trim at the sleeve cuffs and skirt hem. The dress is made from two fabrics - one layer is a pink silk chiffon at the interior and used to make the sleeves and the other is likely a rayon or nylon organza and this fabric comprises the outer layer of the dress body. There is no fabric tag and the size is a UK 12 - but given that vintage sizing isn't a reliable gauge of its modern equivalent, please consult measurements below. Dress is in very good vintage condition with some scattered light yellow spots throughout and some other very-hard-to-see minor wear.
