A 1980's bright orange ball skirt from Balenciaga's "Le Dix" label - which was the brand's short-lived attempt to create a line that would appeal to a younger, hipper demographic. The voluminous skirt is created by multiple gathers at the waist, buckram sewn into the interior hem and the fabric itself - which has a firm hand and keeps its shape. At the entire length of center front is a bold white applique made of oversized, thick silk cord and and beaded embroidery. There is no size or fabric tag - so please consult measurements. The skirt is in good vintage condition with some small areas of discoloration at the back in several areas where it appears that someone tried to clean a stain. These are hard to see given the shape and color of the fabric.
