1986 F/W Azzedine Alaia black acetate knit floor-length evening gown with stand collar, vertical gathers at the bust that create a unique shoulder detail and an open back in the shape of a deep V to the waistline. The fabric is cut on the bias and punctuated with diagonal seaming from front to back which forms an asymmetric train at the hem. There is a built-in body suit at the interior with a snap closure.
